East Trent Grain Elevators

April 23, 2009

Eastern Washington state marks its towns and cities either by churches or grain elevators. The Palouse area is a major wheat growing region, so it seems that these grand concrete towers seem almost to outnumber the churches. They are seen for miles, but one hardly ever sees anyone around or in them except for a few days around harvest time.
